In 2013, I graduated from the Tokyo campus of Musicians Institute with a major in Music Production. In 2025, I graduated from the Australian College of the Arts (Collarts) with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. With over 20 years of musical experience, I teach students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on practical playing, solid technique, creativity, and confidence through personalised lessons.

Guitar lessons

Natalie Cermak is a Conservatorium trained singing and guitar teacher based in Highgate Hill, with 25 years of teaching behind her. Her lessons begin with technical vocal work including diaphragm and breathing control, ear training, scales and diction exercises, and address habits such as throat strain and nasality before moving into creative work. She provides written modules and practice discs, sets weekly home practice, and adapts to different learning styles. Students are entered in talent contests, end of year performances and shows around Brisbane, with paid gigs booked for advanced students and vocals recorded to CD using Pro-Tools.

Stahlut Guitar School

Abel Stahlut holds a Bachelor of Arts with an Extended Music major from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queensland University of Technology, and has been teaching guitar for 15 years. His teaching has spanned school students from primary through high school as well as adult beginners and returning players. Lessons are customised to each student's goals and take place at his home studio in Carseldine or by travelling to the student, with a free trial lesson offered. He also records progress demos in his home studio for school or audition purposes.

Jacob Laube Music Tuition - Guitar

Jacob Laube holds a Bachelor of Music, a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Masters of Fine Arts specialising in Music, and is a Certified Professional Music Teacher. He has 12 years of teaching experience, working both as a private tutor and as a classroom teacher. His guitar lessons in Oxley are delivered in an encouraging and attentive manner, alongside a team of teachers.

Guitar Tutoring by Graham Moes

Graham Moes is a Toowong guitar teacher with 15 years of live performance behind him, having toured nationally as a soloist and with live performance acts. As frontman of Fat Picnic he has played Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Island Vibe Festival and Caloundra Music Festival, and he won three awards at the 2016 QUBE effect competition for Best Solo Performance, Best Professional Live Performance and Best Emerging Talent. He has also spent over 1000 hours in recording studios and works with live looping. He has been teaching for 11 years, running lessons fortnightly with content directed by the student.

Singing Lessons

Viva School of Music teaches from studios in Camberwell and Blackburn, with a teaching team holding qualifications from institutions including the Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland Conservatoriums, Monash University, Berklee College of Music, the Conservatorium of Amsterdam and Lasalle College of the Arts, along with masters degrees from Rostock, Tehran and PA University. Drum lessons cover jazz, classical and contemporary genres. A free first lesson is offered, and students have their playing captured through performance recordings.

Guitar Lessons

Jordan Brodie holds a BMus and graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in jazz guitar. He has recorded two fingerstyle guitar albums, toured Australia and New Zealand, and performed in Canada, Ireland and Germany, and is a Queensland Music Award winning guitarist and composer. He has taught guitar at his home studio and in a school, and also runs group ukulele and guitar classes for those with no prior experience. Lessons are available in Paddington or via Skype.

Samuel Davey - Guitar Tuition & Repair

Samuel Davey teaches guitar in Box Hill South, drawing on seven years of teaching experience. He spent five years in guitar construction, maintenance and repair at Maton Guitars in Box Hill, and also offers services such as restringing, setups, pickup installation, fretwork, nut and saddle making and tuning machine replacement. Lessons are run privately, one to one.

Beginner Acoustic Guitar Lessons - Coral Renee

Coral Renee graduated from the CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music in 2023, took part in the Talent Development Project in 2024, and holds a TAFE Certificate 3 in Music Industry. She performs live in the country music scene and has appeared in musicals as a singer, dancer and actor. Her voice and guitar lessons are built around students' favourite songs, with vocal exercises directed at each student's goals and a focus on building vocal confidence. Lessons run weekly at her home in Stanhope Gardens.

Bass Guitar Lessons

The Learning Lounge in Turramurra has 14 teachers working with around 250 students a week across voice, piano, guitar, saxophone, violin, clarinet, trumpet, bass and flute. Lessons are one on one in dedicated rooms, with some teachers offering AMEB and Rock School exams. Students can be prepared for graded exams on request, or supported in learning for fun or for playing in a band.

Bass Guitar Lessons

Jon Randall spent 11 years performing in cover bands in the USA and 20 years doing the same in Australia, and he posts free bass lessons on YouTube. He teaches students in the USA via Skype and has had students perform live with his band there. Lessons are tailored to each student's goals, with a structured option mixing theory and songs, and cover practical ground such as learning songs quickly, stage notes, recording, video editing and website building. He also helps students learn songs for their bands, write bass lines and prepare for auditions, offers loaner basses and amps for beginners, and teaches online via Skype, FaceTime and Zoom.

Guitar Lessons - Lee Jones, Ph.D.

Lee Jones teaches guitar in Melbourne and prepares students for graded repertoire through ABRSM, Rockschool and AMEB. He has authored an ebook available on ResearchGate. His lessons emphasise fundamental technique across rhythm and lead guitar, covering both plectrum and fingerstyle playing, sight-reading, ear training and transcription. He also works on improvisation, composition and arranging, and helps students build practice routines.

Piano Lessons, Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons

Core Studios Sydney runs a home based studio in Burwood teaching guitar, piano and voice. The studio is a registered Creative Kids provider, with lessons available in 30, 45 or 60 minute formats. Teaching covers both one to one private lessons and small group sessions for piano and guitar.

Zhong Ruan（Chinese Guitar）

Sally teaches guitar, mandolin and piano in Brisbane, and her students have passed early-grade AMEB examinations. Her lessons focus on building interest and understanding of music in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. She works patiently with children.

Guitar Lessons

Leaders of Rock in Doncaster teaches piano and guitar with a focus on chords played alongside singing, as well as reading music and using finger diagrams. Lessons also prepare students to perform live.

INDIVIDUALLY TAILORED GUITAR LESSONS

Josh taught guitar as well as bands and ensembles at primary and secondary schools across Melbourne from 2008 to 2011. Based in Pascoe Vale, he tailors each lesson to the individual student, covering guitar techniques and chord vocabulary. Lessons also draw on the playing styles of well known artists.
