Guitar Tutoring by Graham Moes

Graham Moes is a Toowong guitar teacher with 15 years of live performance behind him, having toured nationally as a soloist and with live performance acts. As frontman of Fat Picnic he has played Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Island Vibe Festival and Caloundra Music Festival, and he won three awards at the 2016 QUBE effect competition for Best Solo Performance, Best Professional Live Performance and Best Emerging Talent. He has also spent over 1000 hours in recording studios and works with live looping. He has been teaching for 11 years, running lessons fortnightly with content directed by the student.

Mobile Saxophone Lessons

Scott has been teaching for eight years and brings over 12 years of performance experience, along with competition wins at state and local level. He runs a mobile teaching service from Kenmore, working with students in their own homes on piano, saxophone and clarinet. He also arranges requested songs to suit each student's level, with the aim of motivating them to keep improving.

Guitar Lessons

Jordan Brodie holds a BMus and graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in jazz guitar. He has recorded two fingerstyle guitar albums, toured Australia and New Zealand, and performed in Canada, Ireland and Germany, and is a Queensland Music Award winning guitarist and composer. He has taught guitar at his home studio and in a school, and also runs group ukulele and guitar classes for those with no prior experience. Lessons are available in Paddington or via Skype.

Piano Lessons for Adults

Freyja Phillips teaches piano in Bardon, building students' understanding of music theory and how music works. Lessons draw on repertoire chosen by the student and are directed toward each person's own goals, with an emphasis on self-directed, autonomous learning. Weekly lessons run for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and a free trial lesson is offered.
