Creative piano teaching for beginners, AMEB exam students, adults who want to pick up (or get back to ) piano

Hey future pianist! My name is Val and I’m a piano teacher based in Doncaster. I teach kids from 6 years old, teens, adults - basically anyone who is interested. Lesson consists of technical work, pieces and some creative time (you gotta have that!) . You can have a short lesson of 30 minutes or a longer one which is 45 minutes. AMEB preparation is available as well. Feel free to get in touch and ask questions!

Singing Lessons (All ages) Available

Erin Mannix holds a British Diploma of Musical Theatre from Associated Studios and completed full time Acting for Stage and Screen at Patrick School of the Arts, along with study at Justin Lehmann Acting Studio, short courses with NIDA, APO Arts Academy Melbourne, ASA, AAA, The Space and Andrew Byrne, and Estill Method vocal training. Her private singing training has been with Leontine Hass, Adam Lyon, Amanda Colliver and Martin Croft, and she has performed in the contemporary music scene since age 13 in stage bands, choirs, bands, duos and as a solo vocalist nationally, as well as in theatre productions including Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, Pride and Prejudice and Repentance Creek. Lessons are hands-on and practical, tailored to each student, combining vocal exercises and warmups with chosen repertoire and a holistic focus on safe, effective vocal technique. She teaches in St Kilda East and Balaclava, St Albans and online.

Singing Lessons

Viva School of Music teaches from studios in Camberwell and Blackburn, with a teaching team holding qualifications from institutions including the Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland Conservatoriums, Monash University, Berklee College of Music, the Conservatorium of Amsterdam and Lasalle College of the Arts, along with masters degrees from Rostock, Tehran and PA University. Drum lessons cover jazz, classical and contemporary genres. A free first lesson is offered, and students have their playing captured through performance recordings.

Singing lessons for neurodivergent people and people with disabilities

Jackie studied Jazz (Voice) Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, and also holds Honours in Psychology and a UK Masters scholarship examining the role of music in conflict resolution. She has worked as a professional singer for over 15 years, performing regularly in Melbourne as a jazz and contemporary vocalist, and was classically trained as a child in voice, clarinet and piano. Her lessons are tailored to individual goals, with a focus on vocal technique and performance skills, pitch and harmony exercises, and work on performance songs. She has experience working with students with ASD and disabilities, adapts lessons for all abilities, and teaches at students' homes or online via Zoom or Skype.
