Alexander White holds a Master of Arts (Music Performance), an Honours Degree in Advanced Musical Performance Studies and a Bachelor of Music Performance, and has taught for 20 years, including ten as Head of Strings at Mount Waverley Secondary College. He has also taught at schools such as Melbourne Grammar, MacRobertson Girls' School and Tintern Grammar, and tutored for the Melbourne Youth Music Program, the Victorian State School Spectacular and the Monash University Academy Orchestra. As a performer he has appeared with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic and alongside artists including Andrea Bocelli, Tina Arena and Sigur Ros, performing across Australia, Europe, Asia and South America, and he received the Monash University Chamber Music Prize along with a scholarship to study and perform in South America. His violin and viola lessons focus on technical foundation and musicianship with music reading taught from the outset, and he prepares students for AMEB exams, VCE Units 1 to 4, IB assessments, eisteddfods, scholarships and university auditions from his Richmond home studio or online.

Dr Shaun Ng studied viola da gamba with Jose Vazquez and has recorded extensively, including a double CD of Telemann's 12 fantasias and 2 lessons for solo viola da gamba on a 1739 Jean Nicolas Lambert instrument, a solo disc of music by Mr. de Machy on a copy of the 1683 Michel Collichon viol, a debut theorbo CD of Robert de Visee, and a recording of Marin Marais from Pieces a une et a deux violes (1686). He has also recorded with lutenist Lucas Harris and collaborated with keyboardist Diana Weston on a CD for viola da gamba, square piano and harpsichord. His violin lessons are structured and goal focused, building a technical foundation alongside musical understanding.
