Creative piano teaching for beginners, AMEB exam students, adults who want to pick up (or get back to ) piano

Hey future pianist! My name is Val and I’m a piano teacher based in Doncaster. I teach kids from 6 years old, teens, adults - basically anyone who is interested. Lesson consists of technical work, pieces and some creative time (you gotta have that!) . You can have a short lesson of 30 minutes or a longer one which is 45 minutes. Thomas Summerfield

Thomas Summerfield teaches piano in Spotswood and prepares students for AMEB piano examinations. Lessons follow the AMEB syllabus structure, opening with a short block of technical work such as scales and arpeggios before spending most of the time on repertoire chosen to be challenging but achievable. He sets recommended daily practice and encourages students to sit at least one exam each year, while remaining open to alternative pathways if requested.
