Casey Greene graduated in Jazz Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 1985 and studied under Don Burrows AO MBE. Casey worked full time in Sydney musical theatre from 1985 to 2004, playing in productions including Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Miserables and Chicago, and has performed as a jazz soloist across the UK. Teaching has spanned schools in Australia, the UK and Wales, along with private one to one lessons from 2004 to 2020, with students going on to full time university music study. Lessons cover clarinet, saxophone and flute, are held online via video call with flexible scheduling by request, and include preparation for classical or jazz exams.

The Learning Lounge in Turramurra has 14 teachers working with around 250 students a week across voice, piano, guitar, saxophone, violin, clarinet, trumpet, bass and flute. Lessons are one on one in dedicated rooms, with some teachers offering AMEB and Rock School exams. Students can be prepared for graded exams on request, or supported in learning for fun or for playing in a band.
